I spent a week doing work experience at Harborough FM, a local community radio station who have around 30,000 listeners and broadcast all day. I worked with the News Editor and Director Nick Shaw directly with day to day tasks, including preparing and researching stories, observing how bulletins are prepared and recorded, and I even got to record some news items which were broadcasted in the hourly news!
